I'm so excited! I can't believe it's finally here! My first Love List Tuesday, which can only mean one thing:
10 WEEKS TILL HATE LIST'S RELEASE!!!

And now let's jump right in! Here are the things I am totally lovin' this week:
1) 21st Century Breakdown (which I've been listening to pretty much nonstop since I got the CD almost two weeks ago. American Idiot is still my favorite, but dang, this one comes real close!)
2) New blinged-out bookmarks with the "love" charms and the tassles and the -- oh, yes -- sequins. For LL Tuesday winners only!
3) John Anderson and John Henson, the Wipeout commentators. Just 'cause they make me laugh with all their big balls jokes.
4) Laser tag.
5) Air conditioning.
6) Dan Simmons, whose book "Drood" is like a master class in fiction-writing.
7) New grocery store in Liberty, even though it makes me sound old and lame and way mommish to say so. 'Sokay, I am old and lame and way mommish. And that grocery store is flippin' sweet.
8) My neighbor across the street who always brings me cookies.
9) The commenter named "swissmom" on my Saturday blog, whose comment about single parenting literally brought tears to my eyes.
10) Kidlit Central News, where some of the nicest writers I know hang out.

I am loving the professional blogging that is happening in YA literature. I love being able to point my students to their favorite authors. It is such a neat connection that really lends itself the the instruction of English. Thank you, Jennifer for all you do in your craft and for promoting Young Adult reading.

3) I'm loving my son. He's so freaking cute when he lights firecrackers! He's 8.
4) I'm loving life. It is SO SO good.
5) I'm loving humidity cuz it makes my hair do wild and crazy things.
6) I'm loving my new Freedom Coffee. It smells insane.
7) I'm loving my momma cuz she's the best.
8) I'm loving my honey's strawberry smoothies.
9) I'm loving the moonwalk (again)
10) I'm loving God cuz he's amazing and never fails.

Okay well, one thing I am loving this week is the fact that sweet lil Jennie Gorman from high school has a book coming out! How cool is that really? Pretty dang cool. And she's having a contest based around it and giving away prizes!. I'm still pretty starstruck Jen.
I'm also loving the book I'm curently reading that finally came out in trade paperback. It's called "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" and it uses alot of the original Jane Austen writing but now these proper young victorian era gals are not only trying to get themselves married of but also have to fight off hordes of zombies. And there is ninjas in it too. Classic.
Oh and Emerald smoked almonds. MMMMM loving them!
Can't wait to read the book, Jen. STOKED!

I am loving Swim Lessons. The perfect two weeks to follow 4 weeks of Summer School. Which leaves how many weeks to fill till the start of school??? TOO MANY.

I am loving the YA book, Savvy, by Ingrid Law. So many great ideas to teach reading and writing. (Now, if I could only find a teaching job in which I could use some of those ideas.)
I'm also loving that I know someone who achieved one of her dreams! So proud of you, Jen. Can't wait to get my hands on that book!
Also loving that one of my peeps drew her first face last night. On her own. No prodding. Eyes, nose, mouth, circle head.

This week I'm loving
1. The Game On! Diet! - me and my (ho)-Hos are going to take the other teams down and we will look sooo good doing it!
2. Word Ninjas Ink - got some cool bookmarks/magnets to hand out to teens at library!
3. not working everyday - that speaks for itself!
4. dred locks - will be so easy to take care of!
5. Summer - yeah!!

Terry Pratchett. Tamara Pierce. Son's camp counselor who has deadlocks, a funky hat, cool glasses, and is getting a degree in Physics at colllege. The coolness factor just guaranteed camp's success!

1) I am loving the friends that I have been fortunate enough to make via the internet who have become IRL friends.
2) I am loving the fact that my daughter is now totally engrossed in creating just about anything artistic.
3) I am loving that my husband has begun confronting childhood demons, and is choosing to use them constructively to try to help others in a similar situation.
4)I am loving that I am actually going to continue my education in less than 2 months.
5) I am loving that I will soon be able to read Hate List!
6) I am loving that inevitably, it will not be the first book for JB.
7) I am loving the fact that, despite the financial pressures so many face right now, many of my friends are now following and achieving their dreams.
8)I am loving my hair. Just for today, more than likely, but there it is, with pretty curls and all.
9) I am loving a wonderfully generous friend who offered to help my family out when we needed it so badly. It may not have worked out according to plan, but there is nothing in my heart for her and her ohana but love. Mahalo.

Reluctantly, I'll agree to post what I'm loving this week, but it makes me sound like an even bigger dork than you imagined.
1) Bumpits
2) Too Faced Lash Injection mascara
3) Dirty English cologne. No, not Old English, which is very different. Technically Dirty English is for men, but I like it too much to care about gender issues.
4) Texting--I finally learned how to do it a little faster this week
5) Smart Pop 94% Fat-Free Kettle Corn with butter spray. It's a fat girl's dream. Buttery, crunchy, sweet & salty all in one.
6) Nap time, the baby's & mine.
7) Getting out of my zip code for a date with Steve
8) Strawberry cake
9) Birthing babies
10) My mom-friends

I am loving that Eric is working days and I now have him home at nights, and I'm loving that he'll wake up in the middle of those wonderful nights just to talk and say "I love you."
I'm loving that yesterday I had an almost perfect day with my MIL.
I'm loving that I don't have to do dishes today.
I'm loving that I don't have to do laundry or clean- just put it in boxes.
I'm loving that tomorrow starts the countdown to 16 days until we sign for our own home!
I'm loving the Phillipa Gregory is coming out with a new book (but Jen's comes out first, and I'm more excited to read it! No flattery, just fact.)
I'm loving that Nathaniel has discovered the mirror on his walker.
I'm loving my life!
I'm loving that yesterday I had an almost perfect day with my MIL.

M love list for this week:
10) I'm lovin that fireworks stands opened yesterday in Kansas. We only went to ONE, and only have two of our "traditions" left on our list!
9) I love that our oldest son is home this week. I missed him mightily the last three..
8) I love my baby boy is taking an interest in the toilet, as opposed to the whirl pool for rubber ducks.
8) I love all the m2mers I "see" elsewhere, their blogs, their facebook pages. The support network is awesome.
7) I love all the reading time I have outside! Can't wait to add Hate List to my stash.
6) I loved hanging out with my high school friends last weekend at our informal picnic.
5) I love my girlfriend who came down from Chicago just to be at said picnic, and then decided to stay for the week!
4) I love to eat those fruit-flavored frosting cupcakes they've had at Hy-vee and PC lately. The lime are especially yummy.
3) I'm loving the room ac unit our landlord put upstairs for the boys. It's really helped the whole house.
2) I love my girls, both of them, in their preschool logic cuteness.
1) I'm w/ Ms. Rogers, I'm lovin my Jesus and the strength HE gives to keep me sane w/ six children.

Today I am loving that my kids slept until *almost* 10:00, which allowed me to sleep in, instead of waking me up before 7:00 like usual! Which leaves mommy very cranky -- I feel exhuberant today!
Yesterday I loved spending time with my two little ones, MiMi, my cousin & her little girls (whom I haven't seen in over a year!) at Deanna Rose.
And cannot forget I love love love my cousin who works at DR, who came in to pick up her paycheck & stayed to bait hooks for the *powderpuff* mommies & grandmommy who refuse to touch the worms!!! G-jer, you rock!
