Guest Blog: Author Yvonne Perry's Love List!

Posted by jennifer_brown on December 5, 2009 at 10:17 AM

Are Saturday mornings on your LOVE LIST? They're certainly on mine! And today I have a guest blogger, who has a love list all her own! Check out Yvonne Perry, author of SID SERIES: A COLLECTION OF HOLISTIC STORIES FOR CHILDREN, who has so graciously agreed to post today's Love List. Enjoy!

About Sid Series:

All twelve stories in the Sid Series, A Collection of Holistic Stories for Children share messages that support the whole child-body, soul, and spirit-by empowering and building self esteem. Modeled after the lessons Yvonne'sgrandson, Sidney, is teaching her, each book introduces life skills such as following inner guidance, being true to one's self, helping others, being environmentally conscious, orovercoming fear.  These stories are great for the classroom, young readers, or toddlers being nurtured at home.

Yvonne Perry's love list:

Spending time with my family--especially my grandkids. I have four new grandsons born this year.

Learning new things like how to be a book publisher and using Lightning Source to print my books.

I love sharing the books I have written. http://TheSidSeries.com

I love computers and technology. I made a video book for  Powerful Potion, one of the stories in The Sid Series. I plan to upload it to YouTube.

I love to walk on the beach or in the woods--especially with my husband--even though he walks like he's running to put out a fire!

Warm weather: any time, any day, all day.

I love being 50 and having a day without a hot flash!

Sleeping late in the morning.

A hot cup of coffee in the morning (after sleeping late!).

Networking with great folks like you!

That last one's on my love list, too, Yvonne! Thanks for stopping by, and good luck with your book!

Barbara, I'm thankful to have your support on this blog tour and our other ventures. Somedays I feel swamped and overwhelmed as anyone does, but I try to keep my focus on the big picture and then drill down to the task at hand. If I write the organizational book, I'll have you write the foreword!

Now where did I put that file? . . .
